How to apply

To participate in the Predico collaborative forecasting sessions, interested forecasters must complete an application process. This ensures that all participants meet the necessary criteria and are properly onboarded to contribute effectively to the platform.

1. Send an email to predico@inesctec.pt describing your background, forecasting experience and intended submission approach.
2. Upon acceptance by the Market Owner, you receive a registration link to complete your account.
3. Once registered, follow Getting Started for your first submission.

Expect a reply within a few business days.

Eligibility

• Serious applicants only — submitted forecasts should perform at least as well as Elia's current forecast on its Open Data Portal. You may be asked for a one-day, day-ahead forecast sample before enrolment.
• One account per individual or organisation.
